The Director of Programming needs another show to fill the time slot of the movie of the week. If you can make a movie of some sort he'll broadcast it. If your movie is broadcast you are assured that somehow it will send you back to reality. He'll only greenlight one show per week, so only the first person to get their movie done will get out, everyone else is stuck.
